So, it’s your birthday today, Yoseob-ah. You’ll never see this but I want you know that you’re simply amazing. Your voice could calm a storm in anybody’s heart, and I’m so thankful to you for sharing it with us. I would even go as far as to say that you may have saved a few lives just by being happy, and doing what you love to do. It’s impossible to be sad while watching you, or seeing a picture of you. If there’s a smile on your face, we know everything will be okay. 

You are one of the most selfless people I’ve ever seen, you’d do anything for anybody and that doesn’t make you gullible, it makes you special. Thinking of others before yourself, it’s something a lot of us have to learn throughout life.

But with you, it’s natural and effortless. That’s what makes me love you. You don’t give a second thought to helping anybody and you ask for nothing but love and acceptance in return. You do so much for people that you don’t even know and you’ve fought so hard to be where you are, through throat problems and all, you still managed to sing your heart out like everything was fine, even if we all knew you were in pain and would prefer for you to rest and get better.

But you never did, you kept going no matter what, just to please your fans and soothe their worries. If that doesn’t make a person beautiful, I don’t know what does.

I hope this year brings you many opportunities, and luck, and so much love. I hope you stay healthy this year, and every other year after this. Look after yourself and eat well. You have so many people here who care for you and would do anything to keep that smile on your face, and we know you appreciate it.
